Slow slow music

Call me a heathen. Say I don't understand anything about art. Tell me I don't appreciate true genius, but this is a crap idea. A piece of music played so slowly that it last 639 years? Oh please, don't waste my time.

Incidentally, I wonder what the musical symbol is for a rest which lasts a year and a half?
